According to the agreements of the deputies’ factions leaders and by the order of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak, on February 7, at 3 p.m. an organizational meeting of the authorized representatives of deputies’ factions on elaboration of proposals regarding amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine was held.
Following the results of this meeting, a schedule of elaborating proposals regarding amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as regarding deputies’ factions submitting their proposals till February 9, 2014, which will be included in a comparative table, was agreed upon.
Another meeting of the authorized representatives of deputies’ factions, which will consider these proposals, should be held on February 10, 2014.
The Party of Regions representative M.Chechetov stressed that his faction would not submit their version of amendments. At the same time, he said that they are ready to consider proposals of the other factions.
